MFW Fall RTW 2011/12

The fashion season in Milan is come, Gucci opened the season  with the celebration of the 90th anniversary of the brand. With references of the 70's, highlighted in their coats and fur stoles of colors burgundy, green, purple, mustard etc. I Praise the vapors gowns encrusted with hand-painted roses, plus clutches and handbags made from crocodile skin and leather. A collection with a little masculine touch but very sexy, reminds us of the best times of the Italian house in the 90's.
The Frida Giannini inspiration for this collection were: Anjelica Huston, American photographer Bob Richardson and singer Florence Welch (hell yeah! Florence I love u too).

On the other hand the collection of Prada, which leads us on a journey remembering old classics - the inspiration - like the Mondrian dress by YSL on 1965, and Paco Rabbane with short dresses covered in small pieces (Like a mermaid).
I can say, I love this collection (I'm a big fan of Miuccia Prada). For me it was a  charming and nostalgic trip, fresh makeup for the models, like little girls playing a to be aviator's. Covered dresses of fur (the trend this season). Short Dresses  in dark blue and burgundy. Boots and bags of python skin, accompanied by the perfect look.

Quickly update:

Alberta Ferretti everywhere breathed 60's, the iconic Twiggy, Strong colors: fuchsia, petrol, electric blue - New direction of Ferretti?. D&G (product placement? Uh? What is comming on? Tell me, Domenico and Stefano.) a collection for a "younger audience", something fresh but saturated of color... but we love this reminds me 90's . Max Mara and unusual materials used in this minimalist collection with outstanding pieces easy to use. For Fendi, Karl Lagerfeld and Silvia Venturini present an unique show. Maybe the artistic touch of the mark is most remarkable in these times, the mixture of materials, leather bags, mustard, volume, defined silhouette and background sound with music by James Blake "Limit To Your Love".

Just be a powerfull Season!
Enjoy! with a classic Italian song
